Why it matters

Reducing risk, one practical step at a time

Phishing emails, stolen passwords and ransomware affect businesses of every size, and small businesses are often targeted because their defences are weaker.

You don’t need an enterprise budget to improve your position. Consistent, well-chosen controls and tested backups make a real difference.

What that means for you

  • A clearer view of your key security risks
  • Stronger protection for accounts, devices and email
  • Backups that are monitored and tested
  • Policies and documentation that support compliance
  • Guidance informed by Australian Cyber Security Centre advice

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Can you guarantee we won’t be hacked?

No provider can honestly guarantee that. What we can do is reduce your risk with well-chosen controls, help your team recognise threats and make sure you can recover if something goes wrong.

What is the Essential Eight?

The Essential Eight is a set of baseline mitigation strategies published by the Australian Cyber Security Centre. We can assess where you stand and help you work towards a maturity level that suits your business.

Do we need cyber insurance?

That’s a business decision, but many insurers now expect controls such as multi-factor authentication and tested backups. We can help you put those controls in place and document them.

Is Microsoft 365 data backed up automatically?

Microsoft keeps the service available, but that isn’t the same as a complete backup of your data. A separate backup is recommended for email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams.
