Security, Backup & Compliance

Backup and recovery you can rely on when it matters

Protect the data your business depends on, including Microsoft 365, computers and servers, with backups that are monitored and recovery that is tested.

The challenge

Would your backups actually work?

Hardware failure, accidental deletion, ransomware or a lost laptop can leave a business without critical information. Many only discover their backups weren’t working when they try to restore.

A good backup strategy covers the right data, keeps copies safely separated and is tested regularly.

Signs your backups need attention

  • You’re not sure what is being backed up
  • Backups rely on someone remembering to do them
  • Microsoft 365 email and files aren’t backed up separately
  • Restores have never been tested
  • There’s no plan for getting back up and running

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is the 3-2-1 backup rule?

Keep at least three copies of your data, on two different types of storage, with one copy stored off-site or in the cloud. It’s a simple way to avoid relying on a single backup.

How often should we back up?

It depends on how much data you could afford to lose. Many businesses back up critical systems at least daily, and more often for data that changes frequently.

How long does it take to recover?

That depends on the amount of data and the type of backup. Testing restores helps us give you realistic recovery times before you need them.

Can backups protect us from ransomware?

Backups are one of the most important ways to recover from ransomware, especially when copies are protected from changes. They don’t prevent an attack, so they work best alongside good security.
